The words Mastering Autodesk says it all. Curtis does not just show you how to use the program, he goes into the nuances of it and leaves nothing to be desired. He has crammed a lot of data into over pages. The only problem I have with it has nothing to do with the quality of data; the writing is too small for me and only in black and white. I would have paid double, maybe even more had the writing been bigger and in color.

Other than that I purchased this book to help me learn Inventor at my own pace since my community college doesn’t offer classes for it. I played around with Inventor before purchasing this book and teaching myself was cumbersome and difficult.

This book shows you the correct way in a linear progression. It is easy to pick up where you left off because there is a lot of files that allow you to pick up between steps and sections – there is no need to continuously save your work.

The textbook is a bit intimidating nearly pages , but it moves quickly as the pages include alot of images and examples. Definitely recommended. As a beginner.
